Gone Bananas: The Party

Emery's actual birthday happened to be on the day of Abigails first dance recital. We wanted to make sure that each girl got their special day, so we moved Emery's birthday party to the next weekend. For her actual birthday we enjoyed Abigail's recital and had a family celebration for the girls afterwards. For the party, we had a Luau and invited over our good friends. The kids played out in the backyard and didn't seem to mind the record breaking 100 degree heat. We had a swimming pool, sandbox, bounce house (thanks Cousin Ava), and the swing set to play with. The real hit of the party seemed to be Abigail's Barbie Jeep. The kids were entertained while the adults tried to find shade and good conversation. We are thankful our friends were able to come and celebrate with us and we had a great time. I stayed busy during the party but Spencer was able to catch a couple of highlights.
