Blast Off!

Ace Academy held an event to kick off the school year, which starts next week. We got to take all of Abigail's school supplies, meet her new teacher, and check out the classroom. Afterwards, there was a presentation and meet and greet in the auditorium. It was really nice to listen to the school's philosophy and approach to education. Spencer and I feel so refreshed knowing that we have found a place that seems to meet, if not exceed all of our educational goals for Abigail. When we first started looking at schools, we were beginning to thing that our expectations were a bit unrealistic. We feel so fortunate to have this opportunity for Abigail to go to school at Ace and are very excited for the school year. Most importantly, Abigail has been unable to sleep the past few nights in anticipation of the school year starting. She was even more excited today when she got to go to school and have some one on one time with her teacher to help her ease into this transition.
