HaPpY hALloWeEN!

The Halloween party was a success! Spencer decorated the house and it looked so good! Abigail woke up every day for weeks asking if today was the day that all of her friends were coming over to trick-or-treat with her. Saturday was finally the day! All of our besties came over and celebrated with us! We cooked out, the kids went trick-or-treating, and we watched the OSU/TX game on the big screen in the backyard. At least that was the plan. It seems as though we spent more time chasing kids than relaxing with friends and watching football. I set up a kids table to keep them occupied while the adults got to visit. Unfortunately, that didn't work so well because I didn't take into consideration that it would get dark before they got to start on any crafts. I stayed at home and handed out candy while Spencer and the rest of the gang went to take the kids out in search of free candy. Abigail had a great time with her friends while Emery rode around in the wagon with her friend Avery trying to figure out how this gig worked. Poor Avery couldn't get anywhere near Spencer, he was just too scary! As you will see in the pictures, Abigail grew tired of dressing as a witch. She raided her dress up box and came up with a princess costume, complete with a crown she made herself last summer in art school. We had so much fun, we hope to do it again next year!
